B.Tech. CSE-IoT (Internet of Things) is a newly introduced trending and skill oriented program established in the year 2020, with an intake of 60 students. CSE-IoT Department is led and functioning with highly experienced faculties and certified young trained faculties in which they are expert in various domains. As the positive drastic change and significant revolution in Computer Technology, the Data is becoming most valuable. IoT is playing the major role in terms of data resources for product/service development in Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning and Data Science.

Aim of the Department

  • To enable students for the development of automated smart devices and implementing in the various fields like Healthcare, Hospitals, Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, Home/Office Security and Smart devices
  • To solve the many real time issues in day-to-day life with the combination of cutting-edge technologies such as Sensor Technology, Cellular (3G/4G/5G), Zigbee, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and RFID

Dr. P. Sudhakar is a distinguished Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (IoT), with an impressive academic and professional journey spanning over 17 years. He holds Ph.D. from the prestigious KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, where he honed his expertise in machine learning optimization techniques.

A passionate researcher, Dr. P.Sudhakar has made significant contributions to the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). His dedication to advancing these fields is evident in his prolific research portfolio, having published over 15 articles and conference papers in reputed journals, including Springer and the European Alliance for Innovation (EAI). He is also an active reviewer for various international journals indexed by Scopus and the Web of Science (WoS).

In addition to his academic achievements, Dr. P.Sudhakar has been granted three IPR patents. He also authored the textbook "Building Tomorrow with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning", which provides deep insights into AI and ML applications, reflecting his commitment to shaping the future of technology.
